In Shields 2, the emphasis is on seamanship, sail trim and sail shape. Other topics will include crew overboard, crew work, anchoring and safety topics. There will be some racing and, conditions permitting, there will be ocean sailing to perfect your skills. This is a good class to hone your skills and get some good sailing time.

After successful completion of this class, you will be ready to take Basic Keelboat and receive a US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification.
