Marine Weather 2Marine Weather 2 introduces advanced topics and builds on fundamentals of Marine Weather 1. The course takes an in depth look at high and low pressure systems, the evolution of hurricanes and thunderstorms and introduces the use of upper level charts and their importance in understanding weather patterns and their evolution. The course will introduce forecasting techniques, use of weather fax and pilot charts and focus on giving the mariner practical experience using weather charts and data.
